“A year from now you will wish you had started today.”

Hey, Michelle Cederberg here with a public service announcement around GOALS. We’ve been talking a lot about goals lately, and despite all the energy we’ve put toward the Goal-Crusher Challenge I still think some of you are pushing back against this whole idea of goals. You might be saying to yourself, “Oh, I don’t like them. I don’t have time. I don’t have energy. Goals are hard!”

Yes, goals are hard. And here’s a little dose of reality you may not want to hear…

Watch the video below or read the transcript that follows… and … do the freakin’ work!

You do have the time. You do have the energy. And you do things every day that require effort. You’re just choosing not to do the goal.

So let’s reframe this whole goal thing because whether you clearly define your goal or not (and I still advise that you do by the way), you have the capacity within you every single day to do the things that will help you be better, do better and have more. And by more I’m not just talking about money. I’m talking about more health or more happiness, more time for what matters, more of what you want. So it begs the very simple question:

What do you want? Because those are your goals!

The simple little things that you think about all the time, the things that you dream about, the things that you want are your goals. So don’t over complicate it.

If you’re not chasing your goals you could tell yourself it’s because they’re the wrong goals, but if you’re thinking about it all the time it’s probably because it’s something that you want. So it’s more likely that you need to get out of your own way and quit over thinking!

If it’s the right goal the only thing you need to do is to do the freakin’ work!

(#DTFW)

Decide, then do. And then do it again tomorrow! Get rid of the distractions, create an environment for success, get support from the right people, decide when, decide where… and then do the freakin’ work.

Go small if you have to, but go. And then make the next good decision for what you will do next.

All day, every day you’re using your time and energy for something, so why not choose to use it for something that truly matters to you? I really want you to think about that, because goals are really just a series of steps of doing the right thing, and then the next good choice toward more of what you want.

Until next time, I’m Michelle Cederberg pushing a few buttons (in a kind and gentle way), and hopefully pushing you into action. Isn’t transformation so. much. fun? You got this!

And head on over to my Facebook Page to share your goal success or get some extra motivation!
