Michelle, you were inspiring and not at all in a preachy way.  Your stage persona (which I would have to assume is pretty close to your real one) comes across like that really successful woman who is keen to help her friends achieve similar levels of success and happiness, but by example and encouragement rather than guilt and nagging.

We just had Michelle do a phenomenal stress management seminar…teaching our employees about stress and giving us great ideas on how to deal with it.  I would definitely recommend Michelle to anyone who is looking for basically any topic health.

We had the pleasure of hiring Michelle for 5 different events across Western Canada.  She is very upbeat and funny when she presents and can keep a large group alive and awake!  She listened to the Costco employees each session then modified her presentation to build in what she she had learned about Costco’s particular culture.

The Town of High River had the pleasure of hiring Michelle for two sessions for a staff development day.  She spoke to the majority of our staff who were split between these two sessions.  She spoke about gaining motivation and tools to optimize life balance, stress management and a positive attitude in the workplace.

Michelle is upbeat, funny and very much at ease when she presents and can keep even an after lunch group engaged and awake!  She was exceptionally easy to work with, very flexible in her demands and was very well prepared for both sessions.

Michelle’s presentation was humourous, energetic and interactive, and really gave our team practical advice and food for thought as we face the challenges of our work tasks.  She spent quite a bit of time learning about our organization, our members and the challenges of what we do.  She even attended a social event to get an idea of who we are and what our organizational culture is like.  She added a lot of value to our conference!

Michelle first presented at the Pajama Party for Women in Jasper in 2003 and she was a hit!  She has been a regular part of our presenting team ever since and is one of our most popular presenters.  I can wholeheartedly say that based on our evaluations, Michelle is always a huge hit … she’s joined us in Bermuda, Whistler, Victoria, Lake Louise, and Jasper!

In 2008 Michelle closed our two day Health Canada Admin conference with her ‘Exposing the Myth of Life Balance’ keynote.  She was masterful at gently taking charge of the room without a lot of time to do so.  I enjoyed her personal approach: sharing a bit about her story and the highs and lows along the way. She is a great story teller (and comic if I might add).  The challenge with workshops, if they are successful, is that inspiration felt at that time is hard to sustain once people get back on the job. Having said that, this group has really put in an effort to continue building their community of practice, which is an excellent outcome for the workshop.  Many of our staff listed her session as the highlight of our two day event.  We hired her again October 2010 for our 3-day Affects conference and once again she was an event favorite!
