“A well-developed sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your step as you walk the tightrope of life.”
~ William Arthur Ward
Seriously.

Laughter and levity can go a long way to decrease stress and heighten productivity. It’s even good for your health, so lighten up. Mix a bit of fun into your work day. Get social, smile more, share that stupid joke you heard on the elevator. A 5-minute reprieve from work (especially when it’s sprinkled with a few laughs) will do so much more for you than more work.

The boss was concerned that his employees weren’t giving him enough respect, so he tried an old fashioned method of persuasion: He brought in a sign that said “I’m the Boss” and taped it to his door. After lunch, he noticed someone had taped another note under his. “Your wife called. She wants her sign back!”
